'Hands Across The Water' Charity Bike Rides in 2018 and 2019

I have had the privilege of being able to travel to Thailand in 2018 and 2019 to ride 500km in 5 days across Thailand, to raise money for Hands Across the Water. HATW aims to connect underprivileged and disadvantaged children with homes, food, education, and future pathways.

It was a very challenging but fulfilling thing to do, completely out of my comfort zone with training beforehand on the busy roads of Sydney, and then the challenge of the unknown in Thailand. However the people I met, the friends I made and the contribution the group was able to make was amazing. Hopefully we will be able to do the rides again soon as Australians start travelling again. Might be time to get my bike out and start riding again!
